Barockoboe (Anfänger / Schnupperkurs)

Montag 10.08.2026 bis Samstag 15.08.2026

After studying modern oboe, Eleonora Trivella earned a Master's degree and a Soloist Master's degree in Baroque and Historical Oboe from the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). She received her training under the inspiring guidance of Prof. Xenia Löffler. She performs regularly with various renowned ensembles and orchestras, including AKAMUS, Collegium 1704, Lautten Compagney, Concerto Köln, Batzdorfer Hofkapelle, Capella Cracoviensis, Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, La festa musicale, and the German Handel Soloists, among others. In addition to her concert activities, she has been teaching oboe and Baroque oboe at various music schools and giving private lessons since 2008. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for the oboe and Baroque music with her students to support their musical development. Since the winter semester of 2023/2024, she has held a lectureship in Baroque oboe technique and source studies at the UdK. Concerti in various ensembles are welcome. This year, the focus will be on instrumental and vocal works from England/London for and with Baroque oboe, as well as the repertoire for oboe band, which we will explore together with the participants of the bassoon class. The final concert will feature a work by Henry Purcell with oboe band. This year's Summer Academy is supported by artistic director Xenia Löffler.
